THE  DETACHMENT THEORY

It is going to be difficult and it is not easy.
What freedom means to me?
.
.
.
DETACHMENT
.
.
.
Detachment from my own expectations.

.

.
My 5 STEP tried and tested strategy for achieving detachment.
.
.
THE DETACHMENT THEORY.
.

  1. ACCEPTANCE of truth in life and not being affected by outcomes or results or events happening in life. This is the most difficult because my own stubborn ego cannot take it.
    .
    .
  2. FORGIVE, FORGET AND LET GO when someone or something affects me or events in life are not according to my wish I choose to forgive and forget. There is no next time showing strength. It is time to let go.
    .

  3. GRATITUDE is my biggest strength and helps me the most to detach from the unfulfilled expectations. I show my gratitude for my peaceful soul and repeat constantly till it sinks in or I start feeling truly grateful.
    .
    .

  4. SPREAD LOVE AND HAPPINESS is final step. Loving myself more for the herculean task of detachment and extending love to everyone around me is great way to find a closure.
    .
    .
    .
  5. EAT RIGHT AND EXERCISE Unless my body supports me I cannot have the emotional or mental strength to achieve anything so doing walk , yoga, exercise and eating home cooked food, fresh fruits and vegetables gives me immense strength to stay Detached.
    .
    .

🌼Freedom from expectations , BEING DETACHED IS TRUE FREEDOM for me and my sole motto this year🌼

Loved your points and so happy to know that someone is talking about it…. My idea always is loosing the thing which is causing the trouble and a belief that there is always a solution to each problem

Beautiful encouraging post. I read somewhere forgiving others is important for our own mental peace.

A comment from you is like cherry on top. Thanks for taking time out to read on my page.

I love the fact that you have added taking care of your physical body also as a point. There have been many instances where I have forgotten to do this. It’s an important reminder.

Hi Urvashi,
That’s a very insightful post. You have given me food for thought. Most of the times we keep cribbing about how life turns out to be ,especially when it is not as per our expectations. Let go! is the right attitude.

Hi Urvashi I am Absolutely amazed by this post. I practise these and many more in my everyday life. I use the syllable “Man of no Attachments” for myself 🙂
Happy to have read your blog, you write really good, simple and crisp.
